Neil is the CEO and Co-Founder of Finabeo.
After a long career running major technology-led business transformations, he found himself managing FinOps and Cloud Cost Optimisation for PwC. Working across many clients, it was increasingly evident that FinOps was generally failing (as practitioners were relying on SAAS products to solve complex people problems) and there was a big opportunity for a boutique consultancy. Neil left PwC and started Finabeo in August 2024.
Juggling the growth of Finabeo with a young family is full on! In his spare time, Neil coaches kids football, plays golf terribly and loves walking and trips to the local pub with the family near his home on the beautiful Wirral coastline.
Sarath is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder of Finabeo, bringing over 20 years of expertise in Performance Engineering and Architecture across both on-premise and cloud environments, spanning multiple industries and regions. While assisting clients with their cloud transformation initiatives, Sarath identified a gap in application optimization for the cloud, which led to the creation of the product Optimus. After his tenure at PwC, Sarath joined forces with Neil to co-found Finabeo.
Outside of his professional commitments, Sarath enjoys spending time in the park with his dog and playing badminton with friends in London.
With 28 years of experience in the energy industry, Gemma Stacey has built a career around driving business growth, fostering strong client relationships, and delivering strategic value. She has worked with top-tier global consultancies, collaborating with senior leaders across industries to shape strategies, guide decision-making, and lead transformative initiatives. Now, she is leveraging this extensive expertise to accelerate Finabeo’s growth, strengthen partnerships and achieve commercial success.
Gemma takes a relationship-driven approach, built on trust, collaboration, and a genuine curiosity about people and their business challenges. She has a proven ability to help organisations identify and implement tech-based strategies that drive long-term efficiencies and growth. Known for her ability to solve complex problems and create meaningful connections, she ensures that clients feel supported and empowered every step of the way.
Outside of work Gemma is a Mum to two lively boys and the owner of one lively Labrador, so getting outdoors as much as possible has become an essential part of everyone’s routine!
Paul is a Client Director at Finabeo.
He has 2 decades of client management experience across the technology, engineering and manufacturing sectors and is a qualified cloud practitioner.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, travelling, and spending quality time with his young family.
With over 20 years of experience in telecom, cloud strategy, and IT transformation, Lionel Van Dongen brings a wealth of expertise to Finabeo. As an Oxford University MBA alumnus, Lionel combines strong business acumen with deep technical expertise. His recent work at AWS focused on FinOps and cloud economics, helping organizations optimize their cloud spend while aligning technology investments with strategic goals.
As Associate Director responsible for business development in French-speaking markets, Lionel’s mission is to support clients in mastering financial operations and driving their digital transformation, while building long-term, trusted partnerships.
Outside of work, Lionel is a passionate motorbike enthusiast, both in enduro and on the racetrack. An avid traveler, he spends his free time exploring the world, inspired by his love for architecture and history.
